Its location was perfect for us with just a short walk into the main area. Had some UK TV available too. On arrival we were located our room, unfortunately as a walk in shower was needed because of disability, it wasn't suitable. However, after a visit to reception, a lovely gentleman who had checked us in said he could allocate us a suitable room the following day. (Husband didn't request it on our booking so completely out fault). However , the he following morning, we was promptly offered the room with a shower. This same lovely gentleman personally went to check if it was ready. I was hoping to see this man again on departure to repeat my gratitude. Unfortunately he wasn't there. I didn't get his name, but thank you sir. The staff in the bar was lovely, as we're the staff at breakfast time. All in all a very enjoyable stay. We will go again, that's for sure. Excellent customer service by all.

Unbelievable value for money. People who have made negative comments should bear this in mind. I enjoyed the fact that I could divide my time between the short walk into town for exploring with relaxing by the pool. There are a few different areas that you can place a lounger, in sun or shade. Or you can relax on the cafe/ bar terrace. Something for everyone. The staff were professional, friendly & helpful. Despite not officially offering lunch, they made me a toastie when I arrived probably too late for lunch elsewhere. The prices in the bar are very reasonable for a hotel: a toastie, 2 shandies & a port for €11. Stunning view of the castle lit up at night makes it the only place I’d come back to stay again in this town.

We were given a castle view room which has stunning views, the balcony at the bar is the same The pools were clean we named the ‘hotel’ cat Colina haha she’s cute. Basic continental brekkie with scrambled eggs lots of bread and fruit was good only option for food so with a 5-10 min walk there’s a Lidl and the strip a few excellent choices to eat barbecued meats, salad, chips 3 beers just 30€ also Lidl is where you can also take a bus to albuferia for 5€ 35 mins Reception booked airport taxi this site says 55€ but to our shock we were charged 90€ Tried to question reception but they didn’t seem interested! Rooms were serviced daily to a good standard! Perfect for a romantic break away tho 💪🏻

I have stayed here many times going back many years. The place hasn't really changed at all in that time which is good and bad. However, the good outweighs the bad:- Ample parking Great views from back of hotel (which includes bar and breakfast areas) to the town and Castle Very well kept gardens. Good pool and lounging area. Located out of town but it's only a short walk over the bridge. Prices in low season can be incredibly cheap and the price includes breakfast which is quite a good one.

Balcony overlooking the castle Stalks nesting locally Ambience of the rustic hotel, traditional feel warm colours inside the cosy hotel Grounds and greenary around the hotel Building style Bread rolls were fresh - coffee nice b fast was limited but good value for price paid so you can not complain. Good value stay. In a nice place in a beautiful location . We would like to stay again one day
